At Jupiter High School, God is moving in amazing ways through our First Priority clubs. One story that really stands out is about a student named Jack.
Jack was first invited to a First Priority club about 2–3 months ago by none other than the President of B Lunch! From that moment, Antonio, one of our Area Advisors from Palm Beach made it a point to check in with him each week, encouraging him and inviting him to Christ Fellowship Students on Wednesday nights.
Last Wednesday, something incredible happened. Jack came to CFS for the very first time. He sat in the front row with his friends, fully present and attentive. And at the end of the service, during the salvation call, he looked up at me, raised his hand, and prayed the prayer of salvation.
Afterward, he came over and said, “I’ve never experienced anything like this before. It felt like an outer body experience.” In that moment, I knew he had made the decision to follow Jesus.
What’s remarkable is that just a couple of months ago, Jack wasn’t ready to walk into a church building but he was willing to come to a club inside his school. And through that club, he encountered the one true living God.
Stories like Jack’s remind us why we do what we do. God meets students where they are, often in unexpected places, and He is at work transforming hearts, even in a high school cafeteria.
